Dhimant Patel is a highly qualified and experienced dentist highly experienced in clear aligners to straighten teeth, as well as all aspects of restorative dentistry. Dhimant graduated from Peninsula Dental school in 2012 and went on to obtain a postgraduate certificate in primary dental care. Soon after this he became a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow.
With over a decade of experience in both NHS and private dentistry, Dhimant pursued his interest in restorative dentistry and completed a master’s degree in this subject from the University of Birmingham. This has enabled him to treat more challenging restorative patient cases and implement his in-depth knowledge and advance skills.
Whilst enjoying all aspects of restorative dentistry, he has an enthusiasm for cosmetic smile makeovers and is an experienced orthodontics practitioner in cosmetic clear aligners. Dhimant is passionate about transforming his patients’ teeth to give them the smile they’ve always wanted and restore the function they may have lost.
Over the years he has undertaken postgraduate courses, including medical facial aesthetics and he is currently working towards a diploma in implant dentistry.
Having been awarded a distinction in his restorative master’s at the University of Birmingham, Dhimant was invited (by the then head of dental school Professor Chapple) to teach the undergraduate dental students on the restorative speciality clinics. His kind, calm and approachable nature makes him a well-liked clinician amongst students and patients alike.
At home Dhimant is an accomplished DIY and gardening enthusiast and has carried out his own home renovations. He enjoys spending time with his family and young daughters and remains an avid football supporter.
