Jonathan qualified in 2000 from Kings College London passing his BDS qualification with distinction.
Following graduation, he worked in general dental practice, then undertook general professional training in South Wales working in the Community and Hospital Dental Service. He then continued working in the Hospital Dental Services in Cardiff and Dundee. During his General Professional Training he obtained his MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
In 2004, Jonathan commenced Specialist Registrar training in Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology at Guy’s Hospital. This included rotations to the Royal London Hospital, Eastman Dental Hospital, Kings College Hospital and East Grinstead Hospital. At the same time as Registrar training Jonathan completed an MSc in Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology which he passed in 2007 with Distinction.Jonathan obtained his Diploma in Dental Radiology from the Royal College of Radiologists in 2008.
In 2013 he was awarded FDS RCS by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Jonathan has presented scientific works at both international and national conferences and has published papers on the use of Cone Beam CT in dentistry. He is regularly involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education in Dental Radiology, where he is also an examiner for the Diploma in Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology for the Royal College of Radiologists. Jonathan is integral part of RESTORE Dental Specialists and supports both the in-house team and referring general dental practitioners supporting them with reporting and planning (3 Dimensional CBCT scans).
Jonathan has worked in as a Consultant in Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology since 2009, he is currently working as a Consultant in Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology at Guy’s Hospital, London.
